Iowa State men’s basketball is bringing in former UNI guard Nate Heise Monday for an on-campus visit as it starts to build its roster for the 2024-25 season.
The Cyclones have four scholarships open as things stand right now, and believe that Heise could immediately fill some of their needs.
The Lake City, Minnesota native was a three-year starter at UNI and averaged 13.5 points per game for the Panthers this season.
After a pair of games in his third year in Cedar Falls, Heise suffered a season-ending finger injury.
Heise will have at least one year of eligibility remaining and may also have a second season available.
