Iowa State will host another priority transfer target later this week.
Buffalo guard Curtis Jones is scheduled to officially visit Ames this weekend, a source close to the program has confirmed to Cyclone Fanatic publisher Chris Williams.
The 6-foot-5 Minneapolis native averaged 15.0 points per game this season for the Bulls while shooting 41 percent from the field, 35.9 percent from 3-point range and 78.1 percent from the free throw line. He also added 4.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest.
The Cretin-Derham Hall prep product played one year of junior college basketball at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa. He was a third-team All-MAC selection as a sophomore in 2022-23 and has two years of eligibility remaining.
Iowa State has already landed two of its priority targets out of the portal in UNLV guard Keshon Gilbert and Wofford guard Jackson Pavelezke. The Cyclones currently hold the No. 11 group of transfers in the country, according to On3.
