Biliew set to announce college decision tonight on ESPN

Another of Iowa State’s priority targets is set to announce his college decision.

Five-star Waukee power forward Omaha Biliew will announce his choice tonight at halftime of the 6 p.m. game on ESPN. He’s announcing between finalists Iowa State, Oregon, Kansas and the NBA G-League.

Rated as the No. 12 prospect in the country by 247Composite, Biliew would be the highest-rated player to sign with Iowa State in the internet recruiting services era. The 6-foot-8, 210-pound prospect is considered the No. 5 power forward in the class and is the No. 1 player from Iowa.

Biliew is expected to return to Waukee High School for his senior season, which he helped win the Class 4A state title as a sophomore in 2021 alongside now Drake star Tucker Devries and Iowa guard Payton Sandfort. He spent his junior season playing for Link Academy, a prep school in Missouri.

Iowa State is considered the industry favorite to land Biliew’s commitment. He would be the first five-star prospect to sign with Iowa State in the internet recruiting services era, and could potentially be the program’s first McDonald’s All-American since Marcus Fizer in 1997.
