Iowa State 2023 priority recruit and four-star guard Jelani Hamilton will be announcing his college commitment next week.
The Austell, Ga. native told On3 he will announce his decision on July 1. He officially visited Ames last week.
Rated as the No. 111 player in the 2023 recruiting class, the 6-foot-6 guard also holds scholarship offers from Auburn, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Illinois, LSU, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech and Xavier.
He’s considered the No. 18 shooting guard in the 2023 class by the 247Composite.

Jared a native of Clarinda, Iowa, started as the Cyclone Fanatic intern in August 2013, primarily working as a videographer until starting on the women’s basketball beat prior to the 2014-15 season.
