RECRUITING: Cyclones land Florida safety

Iowa State’s 2021 recruiting class grew again on Saturday when Florida defensive back Winsome Frazier announced his commitment to the program. Frazier is the Cyclones’ 18th commitment of the cycle.

Frazier, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound safety, is considered a three-star prospect rated as the No. 67 safety in the class and No. 120 player in the state of Florida by 247Composite.

The Palm Beach Lakes star chose the Cyclones over offers from Illinois, Maryland, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Central Florida and others.

This is Iowa State’s second commitment from the state of Florida in a class that is currently ranked No. 47 in the country.
