RECRUITING: Florida DB commits to Iowa State

Iowa State has landed a commitment from Florida defensive back Kym-Mani King. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound cornerback announced his commitment on Wednesday via his personal Twitter account.

King, who officially visited Iowa State over the weekend, chose the Cyclones over offers from Marshall, Georgia Southern, UMASS, South Alabama and Toledo. The three-star prospect is considered the No. 187 cornerback in the 2019 class.

King is the third defensive back in Iowa State’s 2019 class, currently ranked No. 31 in the country and No. 4 in the Big 12, and is the program’s 20th commit overall
