RECRUITING: Cyclones land commitment from priority RB target Breece Hall

Iowa State has landed a commitment from Kansas running back Breece Hall. The 6-foot, 215-pound three-star prospect announced his pledge on Twitter Thursday night.

Hall is rated as the No. 70 running back in the country and No. 5 player in the state of Kansas. A native of Wichita, Hall also held offers from Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan, Tennessee and a handful of other programs.

Hall has been on campus in Ames multiple times during 2018, including earlier this month for an unofficial visit. He rushed for 2,082 yards and 32 touchdowns on 201 carries last season for Northwest High School.

Hall is the 15th member of Iowa State’s 2019 recruiting class that rated as the No. 37 class in the country before his commitment. He is the second prospect from Kansas in the class joining three-star quarterback Easton Dean.
