RECRUITING: Iowa State hosting five-star 2020 prospect next month

Iowa State will host one of the top prospects in the 2020 class next month. Five-star Minneapolis point guard Jalen Suggs has scheduled an unofficial visit to Ames for Oct. 15, according to a report by Northstar Hoops Report‘s Ryan James.

Suggs is rated as the No. 6 prospect in the 2020 class and No. 1 point guard by 247Composite. The 6-foot-4, 170-pound floor general is the top player in Minnesota and is rated as the No. 4 player in the nation by 247.

Suggs’ other offers include Kansas, Baylor, Creighton, Marquette, Memphis, Minnesota and a host of other major programs. He took an unofficial visit to Iowa State on Oct. 14 of last year after landing an offer in September.

The Minnehaha Academy-upper School product also holds an offer from the Cyclones in football.
