RECRUITING: Wisconsin guard set to take unofficial visit this month

Wisconsin guard Tyrese Haliburton is set to take an unofficial visit to Iowa State on Aug. 25, a source confirmed to Cyclone Fanatic on Friday. CycloneAlert’s Alex Halsted was first to report.

Haliburton is rated as a three-star guard by 247Composite. The Oshkosh, Wis. native is the No. 266 player in the 2018 class, No. 50 shooting guard and No. 5 prospect in Wisconsin.

The 6-foot-6, 170-pound guard also holds offers from Northern Iowa, Nebraska, Cincinnati, Drake, Indiana State and a handful of other Division I programs.

Iowa State will have at least three scholarships open for the 2018 recruiting cycle. Stay tuned to Cyclone Fanatic for more on hoops recruiting.
