The Big 12 has named Monte Morris its Player of the Week following his triple-double in Sunday’s 130-63 victory over The Citadel.

Morris’ 17 point, 10 rebound and 10 assist outing went down as the fifth triple-double in Iowa State history and 15th for the Big 12.

This goes down as Morris’ third Big 12 Player of the Week award in his career.

Morris currently leads Iowa State in scoring on the season at 18.7 points per game to go along with his 8.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds.

Kansas’ Josh Jackson was tabbed as the league’s Newcomer of the Week.
