Iowa State jumps two spots to No. 19 in this week’s AP Poll

Iowa State moved up two spots to No. 19 in this week’s AP Poll, marking the program’s 60th straight week in the rankings. Gonzaga, which beat the Cyclones 73-71 Sunday in the championship game of the Advocare Invitational, climbed three spots to No. 8.

ISU (5-1) faces another tough test Thursday against Cincinnati at Hilton Coliseum (8 p.m., ESPN).

Other Big 12 teams in the AP rankings: No. 4 Kansas; No. 9 Baylor; No. 25 West Virginia.
