RECRUITING: Four-star athlete Kam White commits to ISU

Four-star athlete Kam White became a hot name on the Iowa State recruiting scene after a visit for the spring game. The hype surrounding the 6-foot-2-inch, 200-pound, athlete is sure to grow after he tweeted his commitment to the Cyclones on Monday.

White is rated as the No. 28 athlete in the class of 2017 by 247. He picked Iowa State over some of the top Power 5 programs in the country. His final seven also included Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Auburn, Minnesota and Ole Miss.

He likely projects as a safety at the next level.

AllCyclones.com reported earlier in the day on Monday that White had set an official visit to Ames for the season opener against UNI on Sept. 3. He’s the 17th commit in Iowa State’s 2017 class, and the highest rated by 247.

Stay tuned to CycloneFanatic.com throughout the rest of the day for more on White’s commitment.
