Picking Iowa State to finish 9th in the Big 12 this season seems to be fairly unanimous.
Athlon, the first preseason magazine to be released this year, did this a few weeks ago.
Over the weekend, I picked up copies of the annual Lindy’s and Sporting News previews. They each have the Cyclones tabbed 9th (ahead of Kansas) too.
"QB play, OL play and lack of talent on defense spell more trouble," wrote Lindy’s about the Cyclones.
Both publications have Oklahoma winning the league, with Baylor and Oklahoma State finishing second and third.
