REPORT: Cy-Hawk football game to be in primetime

Matt Campbell’s first Cy-Hawk experience might be getting a little more interesting. ESPN’s Brett McMurphy included the annual rivalry game between Iowa and Iowa State on a list of Big Ten Network primetime games for this season.

Needless to say, the crowd atmosphere Sept. 10 at Kinnick Stadium will most likely be pretty rowdy. The Hawkeyes won last year’s game at Jack Trice Stadium 31-17.

Neither school has officialy confirmed McMurphy’s report.
