Dear Cyclone Fanatics,

On behalf of Jason Loutsch, Matt Lazear and Brian Lazear, I’d like to wish you and all of your loved ones a very Merry Christmas from our family at CF.

The Christmas of 2009 will certainly be one for all of us to remember here in the great state of Iowa, as was 2009 in Iowa State athletics. In the past year, we’ve seen a handful of great feats that have proven that the athletic department is heading in the right direction.

Paul Rhoads and a group of determined young men made the football team relevant nationally again. The volleyball team went to the Sweet 16. Bill Fennelly’s women’s basketball team was one of the nation’s eight best last season and by all means, it appears as if Greg McDermott’s squad has turned the corner as well.

The year 2009 was good, but 2010 can be better. We’re looking forward to sharing it with you right here at CycloneFanatic.com. This was the hottest spot on the Internet to talk Cyclones long before we took over the show a few months ago.

We want to thank you for sticking with us and by making the site even larger than it was before. We could not and would not do this without you, the Cyclone Fanatics.

Have a very safe and Merry Christmas, wherever you’re at in the world. And hopefully, we’ll see you in Tempe!

Sincerely,

Chris Williams
