• Pet Peave #1 - 3 man pass rush. Best pass defense is a pass rush.
• Pet Peave #2 - Only thing worse than 3 man pass rush, 3 man pass rush with a spy on a drop back QB. Basically creates a 10 on 11 situation. Lovett was a waste of a defender on the crossing route for TD.

3 man is ok with pressure from other spots, we don't crash enough from LB or DB.

Disappointing effort by the team in the 1st and 3rd quarters. Seems like we came in expecting to cruise to an easy victory. Usually that means poor leadership.

Campbell has 8 months to find some leaders in this group. Hopefully they can use this 4th quarter to kick start that

We have given up huge bombs, off tackle runs for 70 yards, a 5 yard crosser for a long TD, and 15 yard passes on 3rd down with no defender near the receiver.

Uhhh.... so what is this scheme good at stopping? Today the answer is zilch.

I think the only games he played in were UNI and maybe BYU? Or did they play the 3rd stringer and not Kohl at BYU? I’m almost certain he hasn’t played in three games this year, let alone four.

Just looked it up, he’s been in three games, this would make four which would not burn his redshirt. On the other hand, Rocco has been carrying the whole team on his back, not sure why you’d pull him (it is still a two-possession game at this point).

Are we scared when he retires or happy? I’ve seen both sentiments in this thread.

The 3-3-5 was great when it was a newer concept and many QB’s were not familiar with it. Unfortunately it has run its course and we need to adjust. History prob tells us that this staff will be unwilling to do so for quite some time.
