We played maybe our worst game of the year and hung in. The part that stings is we had no plan for Shannon, the one guy that can take over.

I did not love the gameplan tonight.

Well I disagree because we played like dog ****. And it wasn’t really even what Illinois did, particularly in the second half. Illinois missed so many free throws and somehow still won.

Bummer. At least we made a push for it and made illinois earn it. We didn’t play great, so that sucks. A better first half and maybe we are moving on.

I guess it does make feel better that I think UCONN will boat race their way into another title.

Hard to win when you don’t play very smart when you could have easily got the lead with lay ups.

They ******* battled back when a lot of you quit on them.
Can't wait till next season.

It will be good motivation to have that sour taste all off season. Next year is our Final Four year. Book it.

Well, it's been a **** day. Lost by three. Missed bunnies. Some bone headed turnovers. Winnable game.

Hell of a season. Didn't want it to stop that way but what a ride.

I will say that Illinois is going to be a MASSIVE step up from the first three teams UConn played, ISU would have been too.

The only thing standing in UCONN’s way right now is Zach Edey and there’s a good chance they never have to even face him.

I mean, you ALWAYS want to win in the tournament…but a consolation prize of not having to play UConn a couple hours away from their campus isn’t terrible. That team is something else.

I’m so sick of getting down big early in the sweet 16. Has happened each of the last 4 times. Avoid that start and make the damn layups and we win this game running away.

Super proud of those guys! We almost pulled it out. ****, even the announcers wanted it to happen. Just a couple plays that made the difference in the end, out of a game of a hundred plays.... That's what happens sometimes.

Eh I really don’t think Illinois played that well truthfully. Early on yes but for almost 3/4 of that game I don’t think they did much that was anything crazy.

They were extremely beatable. That's for sure.
