Probably the best race I’ve watched was when Harvick in like his second race in the #3 car, renunbered to the #29 after Earnhardt was killed. It was the Atlanta race and he held off Gordon. It just seemed like it was meant to be for him to win. It was Earnhardt’s crew and they were like crying and the fans were overwhelmed with emotion. I actually got my pic taken with Danny “Chocolate” Meyers the gas man on the team years later at the Childress museum after he finished his podcast. All the nostalgia was the museum was unreal!

That was a fun race to watch. Incredibly boring first 2 stages but you knew guys would get a little too aggressive to start stage 3 and sure enough it took awhile to settle in.

Would’ve been fascinating to see what would’ve happened if there wasn’t a final yellow and if Denny would’ve had the gas to win
