When you look at previous winners, it seems to me that winning games is a rather large component of being awarded COY.

5-7 just isn't going to get the job done.

As for me regarding Kirk Ferentz and his low vote total--If I were to vote it certainly wouldn't go to him.

Not saying I'm not proud to have Rhoads as our coach, but honest question. What did he do this year to earn the award? We took a step back record-wise, and didn't make a bowl. Outside of this being an internet voting contest, why should CPR win?

Not going to lie, I didn't vote for him because I don't think he earned it this year. Hopefully someday he will.
