I've had a 2014 F150 4x4 with the 5.0 and had no problems through 110,000 miles. Traded for a 2018 similar truck with the towing package, I pull a dump trailer occasionally. Plenty of power and no problems. I commute with it and and get 17 mpg winter and 21 mpg summer, almost all highway miles...
The prep is the worst for sure. What worked for me was Wint-O-green Life savers. Work it around until the taste-buds are numb. Chug. Spit and pop that thing back in your mouth. Buy the big bag, trust me.
I tend to try to buy made in the USA stuff, if it says made in china I have no problem moving on. Especially if it's a want and not a need. My two cents.
I'm not sure who it was but there was an ISU defender stripping the ball from the iowa qb around the time the streak ended. I'd love to see that one again, just pure energy and effort in that picture. Anyone?
Every kid and every situation is different. But speaking from experience, if you don't see a specialist and get a positive diagnosis then stick with treatment... the future will most likely be much more difficult. And mentors that care are absolutely essential but do little with the wrong brain...
Many years ago a classmates eternity lights were stolen as a sorority initiation and it was very upsetting to the family and so many others. I'll never understand the motivation behind these things. At least they were caught. But why do that? Sickening.
Three pieces of bread, toasted or not it's your choice. Two pieces have peanut butter. The third has jelly, put it on one of the pb slices then jelly the other side and put the third piece on top. Triple decker pb&j.mmmmmmm....
Maui 2012 walking through a parking lot headed for a tour wearing my I State hat heard a guy tell "heard we got this guy named Georges!" Had a very brief conversation, made my day.
Not surprisingly, walking through a national park 2 days later saw a young couple wearing hok gear. Gave them a...
Frey is a great place, maybe a bit higher priced - but worth it? Your call. My daughter worked there in the past, so previous posters are right on. Great people and attitudes.
If you're willing to make the drive, I'd also recommend Anamosa. I second the high praise for Brian Darrow. He used to...
It's not unsafe unless the cracks catch the sun and are a distraction. The glass isn't going to fall in (or out). Most likely only the outer pane is broken, the laminate between the two sheets of glass is pretty strong.
Stood on the Missouri a few weeks ago myself. And for never having seen an ocean-going vessel before, standing there was incredible. Absolutely awesome. Now I just have to find a way to justify a trip to LA to stand on the flagship of her class...
I too have an actual confession. Had my first prostate exam this afternoon and I'm feeling violated (although a bit more relaxed about my health). And while being grossed out, I can't help but wish I had sung a quick verse of "Moon River", just for comedic effect. The thought never entered my...
Also been a member for 15 + years. And since you brought it up, drive nothing but domestic cars/trucks. And never been towed. So for what it's worth - domestic or import - I guess we can agree AAA is a good thing. Even for us Americans!
We've had an '05 Escape since new. V6 AWD, averages 23 mpg with mixed in and out out of town driving. Rides well, quiet and comfortable. Much better than the Explorer we had before it.Over 74,000 miles and no real problems yet (knock on wood). I'd recommend one if you aren't looking to seat more...
