    Old person rite of passage

    The prep is the worst for sure. What worked for me was Wint-O-green Life savers. Work it around until the taste-buds are numb. Chug. Spit and pop that thing back in your mouth. Buy the big bag, trust me.

    I tend to try to buy made in the USA stuff, if it says made in china I have no problem moving on. Especially if it's a want and not a need. My two cents.

    I'm not sure who it was but there was an ISU defender stripping the ball from the iowa qb around the time the streak ended. I'd love to see that one again, just pure energy and effort in that picture. Anyone?

But speaking from experience, if you don't see a specialist and get a positive diagnosis then stick with treatment... the future will most likely be much more difficult. And mentors that care are absolutely essential but do little with the wrong brain...

    Many years ago a classmates eternity lights were stolen as a sorority initiation and it was very upsetting to the family and so many others. I'll never understand the motivation behind these things. At least they were caught. But why do that? Sickening.

    Windshield question

    It's not unsafe unless the cracks catch the sun and are a distraction. The glass isn't going to fall in (or out). Most likely only the outer pane is broken, the laminate between the two sheets of glass is pretty strong.

    Also been a member for 15 + years. And since you brought it up, drive nothing but domestic cars/trucks. And never been towed. So for what it's worth - domestic or import - I guess we can agree AAA is a good thing. Even for us Americans! :smile:

    Vibe, Torrent, Equinox, Escape

    We've had an '05 Escape since new. V6 AWD, averages 23 mpg with mixed in and out out of town driving. Rides well, quiet and comfortable.
