Euton is a workhorse! Glad to see him healthy and getting his opportunity
He looks really good. I know Rojas hasn’t produced much in college yet but he was a Super 32 Champ, Fargo Champ, and top #20 national recruit.
Excited to see what Euton can do this year.

I'd guess you are right other than pre iowa 65 seems like euton and hopefully carroll is ok. For iowa I wouldn't guarantee mj beats euton, but think it's 70/30 mj.

Seems like these could be accurate, at least the lineup for Stanford, depending on what happens with Carroll if anything.

It was good to see Redding at 141. Wonder if he gets some early action with Casey managing weight.

I could see us bumping Ech and Swiz up to 49 and 57 and insert either J. Frost or Redding at 141 for the first couple of duals.

Never thought about that but that could be.

Not sure they’d want to do that for 141 since I am sure they want Casey down for Iowa dual and letting him go 149 for a few weeks could hinder that?

Will be interesting. Redding looked good.

They could weigh in at 143 and 151 or so and make it back down in a week.

Still a long way to the Iowa dual. Guessing the lineup we see for Stanford and Navy won’t be the same as what we see vs Iowa. Not saying we’ll be at full health for Iowa, but a week or two of rest can do a lot for the health of these guys
100% fact

Man, Osmany is such a puzzle for me. I heard he is stuggling to make weight and he is not doing well while down to weight. I heard Castillo beat him in 2 matches. I have realized as we go down this road, i do not know squat about wrestling. I thought for sure Grice would be the guy. I heard that he is notorious not showing up when the lights come on. Lets face it, there are kids that may not be good in the room, but they show up when the lights come on and then you have the opposite. I just want to beat Iowa, gosh dang it.

I wonder is the coaches & MJ discuss just staying at 174. To me watching live we are much better with Euton at 165 and MJ at 174. If MJ cuts down and wins (which would surprise me), I could see Euton eventually taking over 174 this year.

Get ready for another year of Terukina at 125.

We beat Iowa last year when it mattered.

I just have such a hard time foreseeing this. If Diversant is struggling at weight and still handled Perryman like that (who was very close to Terukina last year) then barring Diversant wanting to just sit because the weight cut is too much or Terukina making a massive leap from last year I just don't see it.

I wish we could have seen MJ wrestle off at either weight, hard for me to gauge what level Euton or Riggins/Tate is at without some benchmark.

Be curious to see if they use both Meza and Grice early.

One, to somewhat preserve Meza redshirt (if he ends up being clearly the best option maybe he goes all year) but to also get Grice under some lights.

That, and obviously Kysen is going down.

Anyone heard anything on the time of the dual? The website is still showing TBD less than 3 weeks out from go time.

I said this a long time ago when everyone was getting excited about how good he looked in the room and how talented he is. It took Ech years to figure it all out; there are so many complexities to moving to another country, taking classes in college, and learning a new style of wrestling as well as a weight management. Bastida also took some time to get everything down and still struggled with the cut to 197 and being consistent. Freestyle is just a different type of wrestling and it doesn’t automatically mean they will make those adjustments and adapt to a structured season.
