Hawkeye CC's slogan is 'got class' my favorite billboard is in Cedar Falls when you're stopped at the stop light has a tree that only covers the "cl"...just poor placement for their poor slogan

To be fair, it's the whispered delivery that makes these ads so hilariously stupid. The actual slogan isn't bad.

The whispered delivery is a psychological ploy to get you to listen to what they are saying. When you hear somebody whisper, it grabs your attention and makes you want to know what they are saying. Personally I think it's pretty clever.

Exactly. The whispering has got to stop, it's terrible... So is the pubescent tom cruise guy waving his stupid *** hair around, get a haircut and shut up. We have the worst commercial in the country.

Yes, it grabs my attention, embarrasses me as an alumnus, and makes me want to strangle the giant doooooooooshbag. Seriously lame, not clever. It's so amateur. It's like a the no talent *** clown that thought of it just graduated from high school... I hope we hire professions from now on.

It gets my attention for sure. I just think it's funny, because what it's saying seems to contradictory to the way it's said. I mean, when I think of "adventure," I think of bold, grand, epic, etc. Whispering conveys none of those.

Really? I just thought it was because the first ad of the series had the guy saying the "Enjoy your adventure..." line in the library.
