I am considering a position at ISU and I have heard in the past that anyone who works at ISU in a full-time position gets tuition reimbursement for any of their immediate family members. I believe this to be an old wives tale and cannot find anything to substantiate this rumor.

Can anyone confirm or deny this idea? The position would be considered 'professional and scientific.'

The position will definitely pay less than what I currently make and raises are typically 25-33% of what I have been getting. However, the position comes with more than twice the vacation I currently receive and paying for the rest of my wife's degree would certainly tip the scales a bit.

I know I could ask ISU HR but I hate discussing compensation any more than necessary when exploring a new position...

If the job pays less than a Homemaker, you could probably earn more at Caseys.
