My main takeaway from tonight's game is that we are awesome. But another thing that I noticed was the incessant "woooo" or "hoooo" being yelled as though through multiple megaphones almost every time we brought the ball up the court. I assume it is a Notre Dame-specific mating call. It was very, very f****** annoying.

That was very annoying. It reminded me of the South African World Cup and the vuvuzuelas (sp). Maybe they were all trying to signal to their imaginary girlfriends that they were ready to mate?

I thought it was ISU fans doing the 'Tornado Siren', like at the football games! Regardless, very proud of how all the boys played tonight. Got to love the accolades the team was getting from the announcers!

I thought it was the siren cheer as well. It came across awesome on tv. Cyclone Power was great too.

Most likely the ISU band doing their best imatation of a Cyclone warning. I think it annoyed ND so much that they just wanted to go home. Hope it works on tOSU.

I could hear the ISU chants on the TV broadcast very clearly. Cyclone Power, Let's go State, and ISU. The broadcasters must have had a microphone fairly close to the ISU fans for it to be heard that clearly and loudly! Loved it. Sounded better than a home game at Hilton.
