Window screen repair...

Somebody has to do it in Central Iowa. Just need some new screens all together. And before you say do it yourself. I have and I hated it.

OK first, do it yourself.

Second: Maybe try Orning Glass in Ames. Not sure if they do this, but they used to fix old glazed windows, they may do screens, not sure. Owner is a big Cyclone fan, used to regularly see him in the front rows of MBB games on TV.

Third: Maybe call a small locally owned hardware store, I seem to recall a couple in Ames when I was there. They might have a guy who would do it for a small fee.

If you're in Ames, O'Donnel Ace hardware just off of North Grand on 24th fixes window screens. I've had them fix a couple for me. They did a nice job and it wasn't too expensive

Ace Hardware, 24th and Grand, Ames, IA does good work and will treat you well. They are my all time favorite hardware store and that is saying something because I am a grumpy old man.
