If the PAC or B12 want to expand with San Diego St effective with the 2024 FB season, their exit fees from the MWC double/triple after 6/30.

Also, the PAC and their network partners needs to know what schools are going to be in their conference for the 2024 season ASAP and 6/30 is a logical date. Same deal with the B12 & ESPN/Fox.

I will be shocked if this goes beyond 6/30. CW and Brent suggested on the pod that existing realignment "unknowns" extend beyond that date.

I wonder if they don’t care because the exit fee is a drop in the bucket and the new conference will just pay for it spread out over time?

yeah I don't disagree with this at all

But MWC exit fees affect who? Conferences that want to add MWC teams? Would be funny of CU and AZ to wait until after the deadline to force the PAC to pay extra for MWC teams, thus further destabilizing the conference that is poor.
