I know that we start with SDSU and that the South teams rotate, but I would like to see the entire schedule. Thanks in advance.

PS - All-in-all, I think GC made a lot of progress in his first year. Would have liked to see ISU secure victories over Toledo, Kent State, and UNI, but looking forward to a much better season in '08.

Anyone want to go to Vegas with me and throw a temper tantrum?? We'll jump up and down on the 50 then collectively go yelling for the AD

However, this will be after we blank UNLV 54-0 :)

You're just thinking about this now? ****, I've already booked my tickets and arranged a public tantrum with the UNLV AD.

Tickets should be a little cheaper next year, we have one less game at home.

I'm actually really looking forward to next year. Not only should we be better, but the three games I plan on going to (UNLV, Baylor, and OK State) are all decently spread apart so I won't have a month where I'm gone every weekend.

On an unrelated note, does anybody know where the title game is next year? Gut tells me it's gotta be back in Arrowhead, but I'm just curious.

I think ISU goes undefeated in the nonconference next year. KU should be outstanding again next year. The difference between a 6-6 season and possibly an 8-4 campaign will be the games with CU, Mizzou, and KSU IMHO.

Is it every other year at arrowhead and then at the cotton bowl or how does that work?

What they should do, is move the football champ to the cotton bowl every year, and move basketball to KC every year. That would be great.

I would take 6 and 6 and be pretty happy about it.

I would too, but I see a lot of opportunity in next year's schedule. NU, BU, and A&M should all be working under a first year head coach. Something appears to be seriously off-kilter at Iowa. No Texas or OU to contend with. If ISU could win road games at CU and KSU, the prospects seem pretty decent for a good season. I am also encouraged by the idea that Chizik redshirted a significant number of players last year and should have relatively more talent to work with. Arnaud looks like the QB of the future (yesterday's effort notwithstanding), Alexander Robinson appears to have the RB spot sewed up and ISU returns a lot along the o-line. The d-line is going to take some work with the losses of Rubin and Braaksma.

I wish we could ditch the cotton bowl. It sucks because you have this that happens:
Lets say the KU goes to the B12 championship game. They will probably take a bunch of fans right? Lets say they lose. They would most likely end up right back in Dallas a couple weeks later. The cotton bowl would rather have another team since Kansas was just their and that is where people get screwed etc.. I think the last couple Cotton bowls have been in the 50's for temps.

Actually, I have heard rumors in the past that once the Cowboys new stadium is finished, the Big XII title game would be held in Arlington every year. As compensation to the north teams, Kansas City would get the basketball conference tournament every year.

Just a rumor...

That would rule and IMHO would be a solution the entire Big 12 could live with.

I believe this rumor.

I was looking at Big Ten and Bg 12 standings and it looks like Bowl groups are going to have some tough choices in order to fill their lineup.

Wow, that is very true, I had never thought about that before. Maybe that is why San Antonio is in the mix. But I don't like SA either, it is further south than any big12 team.
