I assume the opens don't mess with your eligibility since Chris Bono wrestled as a coach at Tenn St/Tech. Has he found a new school? He best hurry up if he doesn't want to encounter problems with the Ncaa.

hes still in classes here... i wouldnt be surprised if he was back eventually

I'm with CyDude. He's got a kid on the way and he hasn't shown he's able to take care of himself, let alone himself and a kid.

Now, now, you shouldn't be commenting on his personal life. That's between himself and his family. With that being said I do think that Long will be back on the team next year, if he's not I'm guessing he's done wrestling or we'll see him at another school. People make mistakes and sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to realize you errors, maybe this is his rock bottom and there is only one way to go from here and that's up.

Here is what we know about Andrew Long
1. He is still at ISU. People have seen him in class and he is enrolled, so he has not transferred
2. He has not given up on wrestling. Kevin Jackson said at media day that he was still in the wrestling room, because it is a regional training site. So he still cares.

These first two facts show that he still is wrestling for himself and is still at ISU. If he doesn't try to rejoin I would be surprised.

He may want to try and rejoin the team, but ultimately it's up to KJ whether he thinks Long has changed his attitude to merit being reinstated. From what was said at media day, KJ isn't ruling it out completely, but that it's not extremely likely, either.

If Andrew is making progress in the classroom and can stay clean throughout the academic year I would welcome him back for next year. My bet is that KJ is thinking the same.

andrew is in class and in the room, I have heard that there is a chance he could be back 2nd semester. However, more likely next year. Are you sure he has a kid on the way? I think you are confusing andrew with dylan his brother who is an assistant coach. He is having a kid. Also Anthony Valles is back in classes and working out in the room as well. Hope he gets his act together and commits to wrestling. He has a lot of potential, and could make us a much better team.

So they announce he's been kicked off the team but we may let him back after one whole semester. That's like a whole 3rd of the season!

This is remincent of that huge, nasty "suspension" he got nailed with after his first run-in with the police.

Wow, we take a really hard line on this stuff! :skeptical:

Wrong and wrong, I can assure you Dylan is not having a kid, nor does he have a kid already

That could be my fault I guess I assumed that it was dylan when I heard that a long was having a kid. My fault I guess we know what happens when we assume.
