Odds of that are extremely unlikely. My guess is we'd have to be the 6 to Michigan's 3 for that to happen.

I do not want a 5 seed..no thanks...I’ll take the 6 seed...I’d much rather play a middling power 5 team than a 12 seed Mid Major champion who will hit 15 threes..

Aside from that DO NOT want Des Moines.. this team plays so much better on road..we would have all the pressure of a home game and I don’t want it..

You'd think we wouldn't get Des Moines but Baylor has played in Texas a handful of times without being a very high seed.

Seems likely for us to go or stay west (San Jose, Salt Lake City, Tulsa, Des Moines) as the top teams are very heavily tilted east. Only Gonzaga, Houston, Texas Tech, and LSU from the NET Top 16 are west of the Mississippi.

Each of the eight sites gets two seeds in the range 1-4, correct? Could be two 1's, could be two 4's, any combo. None of those can be placed at a "home-crowd disadvantage". I'd say that makes it impossible for us to play in DSM, since we won't rise as high as a 4 seed.

Edit: That "home-crowd disadvantage" applies only to the first round, so we could play in DSM?

Give me the bracket Lunardi has up there right now. Clones as a 5 out west. VTech as the #4 and Gonzaga #1. Do not think Gonzaga is battle tested whatsoever. Wouldn't be shocked if they were in a tight game round of 32 against the 8/9 seed.
