Who is baldy?

Who is the bald ref? Whenever I see that guy at a game I spot the other team 10 points. I liked that Mac kept Jiri out on the court when he got his 5th.

The blonde guy? That's Steve Welmer. I don't mind him but Tom O'Neill, one of the others tonight, and ISU (specifically Eustachy) have had their problems over the years.

Yeah, I agree about Welmer. I think all the coaches like him because he will listen to them rant. He can be a homer sometimes though... which might be what Ames was recalling.

If i remember correctly, he is always pulling up his pants. I remember last year watching him on tv and every time down the court he would pull his pants up..
I know it really has nothing to do with basketball, but its kinda funny when you start watching him. :smile:

Every time I see that guy I get nervous as well. Listening to the game on the radio, John and Eric seemed to think he's a good ref, but damn every time he refs we seem to be on the short end of a few too many calls.

Welmer sucked butthole on that last foul on Jiri. He had made up his mind that he was going to call a foul no matter what so when he screwed up (in that it was a good block) he made up that Jiri had hit him with the body down low. The funny thing is that Jiri was nowhere near hitting him down low. Bad call.
