Would you like to actually support your claim? Or just make us wonder and think you're a pot stirrer.

WE NEED LARRY E. BACK NOW

I can only speak for myself, but I haven't had the same passion for BB since LE left.

With that said, history shows that it is very difficult to win with first year guards. Give it time. Things will look better as players gain experience.

I agree, and remember the good times and awesome basketball that we had under Larry. But I am not ready to give up on McDermot yet. Must have patience young grasshopper:wink:

Are you sure you miss Larry?

I would like to think I miss Fizer and Tinsley, not necessarily Larry.....

Except Larry won with Tim Floyd's players. The program fell into a shide with Larry's recruits, assuming they even made it to Ames.

I think Tinsley was Larry's only great recruit. I can't think of any other. Maybe Vroman. I think GM will run a better program in the long run. Let's not get crazy...

Year two with McDermott. He basically had to start over again this year. (turnover and injuries) So in reality its like another year one. Give the guy a break. It hasnt been easy for him to get some sort of rythm with players. Next year I hope to see a significant improvement. I still think good things will come out of this year. It takes time for these kids to figure it out.

Sorry my friend, with all due respect for someone who's been a clone fan nearly as long as i've been alive, but, this statement almost puts you in with Hawk fans.

I cannot believe you made a statement that LE was the savior...he won championships with Floyds kids and settled into mediocrity with his own recruits. I really liked Larry, but, for someone to lose a game on the road and then be seen out drinking with their fans.....thats disrespectful and he got what he deserved lets not forget that.....

As far as McDermott....wow 35 games into his career at ISU and your saying fire him....on what grounds.....don't it take time to implement your system, your recruits, get everyone on the same page...Its not as if Morgan left the program with the nations top recruiting class and a team competing for the national championship.....it takes time and when you lose your entire starting backcourt it will cause for some problems...and lets face it, when he came into the recruiting battle, he had a short amount of time to develop any sort of recruiting class. Unfortunately, they didnt work out, lets not give the ship up.....I'm really looking at what our future holds....Brackins is the real deal. Staiger from everything i've heard is the real deal. Garrett is the real deal, and for next years class our tinsley will come in the form of Buckley.....Hold true, stay the path, i know you have for a lot of years, but please lets not reflect to failed tenures of the past, instead provide understanding and see through the negitive aspects of the current game or team and see the direction. I see our program in the right hands and think the direction is 100% opposite of what you say, i see him building the team in a manner that it can compete year in and year out....

Worst Player to see significant time since Rampton

Alex Thompson...completely worthless and I think if we played down a man with 4 on 5 we would be better off. How many rebounds just hit his flailing hands and bounced to minny. Unreal. Oh, and our guards are terrible.
