Just wondering what happened to him. He didn't play even when DM got tossed. He used to be such a beast, and now it is hard to believe he is actually still on the team.

He is really fast, but seems to be taken down easy and fumbles way too often. Really too bad for him, because he was really good as a freshman. If ISU had a better OL he would probably get more playing time. At this point most of the runners need to do a lot of what they get on their own.

Why do all your questions have obvious answers? I mean every single thread you start.

Yep. Why can’t the answer be that he is just a good Cyclone and teammate?

Always some douche trying to tear down our team. Ugh.

Nice to be in a situation where a freshman all American is 4th on the depth chart

Not a good fit for this offense I would imagine. I wish he would have went somewhere else as a grad transfer and tore it up for another school in his final season. New Mexico would have been a cool landing spot.

Has anyone seen what the OTHER Mike Warren has done this year? You know, the OTHER Mike Warren we were recruiting a couple years ago. He's putting up huge numbers for Cincinnati. Sorry, I'm a nerd, I kinda follow recruits we didn't end upending.

Beast is the wrong word. Fumbles and goes down easy.

That said, I'm sorry it didn't work out for him here and I wish he'd played more.

Even more impressive

I honestly agree it's more of a offensive fit thing. Also ge doesnt break tackles and with a bad run blocking o line that doesn't work. I do think fumbles aside he is better than Croney and Kene....Kene is not a running back he runs way to high and cant make anyone miss. runs to sideline like in high school still. unfinished product.

I think Campbell said he's dinged up or else he'd be playing more as a blocker.

There are 4 better running backs on the roster than him, that's why he doesn't play... He had a good freshman season, but he was never the same under coach Campbell.

You know, I’ve watched enough of our backups that I have to disagree... or to put it better, there are definitely not 4 who are better than he was at the beginning of his career. You are right that he was never the same - they must be better than he is now at this stage in his career. To be completely buried... I think he must have regressed as a runner, coupled with not improving his fumble problems.
