I've been looking at bowl options for State and am in a fog of our options. Anyone have any idea the scenarios?

That is the order of selection. Heritage PAC 12 teams are not eligible. It feels like we don’t fall below Pop Tart as long as we win one more. If we win out, I feel like our floor is Alamo with something more being dependent on winning conference championship.

Alamo has both sides of the coin -- the Big 12 legacy and Pac-12 legacy teams. Their MO has always been to take the highest-ranked teams available.

With UO likely going to the CFP, UW/UCLA/USC all trash, and WSU clinging to the #25 spot, it's still not out of the question that Alamo could be two 10-win current Big 12 teams -- say, ISU and Colorado.

I like the possibility of Colorado at the Alamo. They won’t have any of their big guns play in a bowl game and we should curb stomp them. I strongly desire to beat the piss out of a Deion Sanders coached team.

Whoever loses the Big 12 title game will be going up against Iowa State for the Alamo Bowl, I'm sure.

Unless we participate in the Big 12 title game then it's probably CFP or Alamo.

If it's the Pop Tart Bowl, I wouldn't plan on going. Have to be there the second week of December for a week already and don't want to turn around two weeks later to go back.

Camping world/cheezit/pop tart. All the same thing.
and before it was known as the Camping World/Cheez-It/Pop-Tarts Bowl, it was also previously known as the following names: Blockbuster, Carquest, Micron PC, (Visit Florida and Mazda) Tangerine, Champ Sports, and Russell Athletic Bowl(s).

Source, this trivia game published in a newspaper on Cheez-It Bowl game day.

The Liberty Bowl just needs to be named the Pepto Bismol Diarrhea Bowl because it's straight up poop. I hope we never play in that bowel game again.

It would be fine with an SEC matchup but playing Memphis there twice sucks real bad.

I haven't seen this posted anywhere, but the Liberty Bowl stadium is in the middle of renovations and is missing nearly half of the seating bowl this year.... Skip to the 40 second mark to see the drone footage
