That was a blast!
Great beer and crowd. Got some good pictures with some absolute studs.
Ryan,
Thanks for chatting with my lady and me before the bike ride home!
It was great meeting both of you too. I'm really happy that you were able to spend some time at West O. And I will always talk about the team and what I know is going on with them to anybody that wants to listen. I hope I didn't bore you too much with my ramblings.
I can't thank the people at West O Beer enough for not only partnering with us for a great tasting product, but hosting our launch party on Saturday night. Unbelievable crowd, honestly way more than I was expecting. I am glad West O has outside seating so we could get everyone there.
People were so generous in bidding on the auction items and buying Blood Round merch and carrying out cases of Blood Round. It was a great night for the CNG, which in turn makes it a great night for Cyclone wrestling.
It's about dollars these days and people have really stepped up to help Coach Dresser in his quest to get ISU wrestling back on top. The amount of attention from the Top 10 P4P wrestlers that ISU is getting would have been unheard of just a few years ago. We have their interest, now we need the resources to land them. It's close folks, it really is just a matter of time before one of the studs, or more, decides to be in Ames.
I think that our special auctioneers might have had something to do with the dollars raised too. David Carr and Marcus Coleman went above and beyond the call of duty on Saturday night. They were both great.
Blood Round will be hitting the shelves this week so look for it wherever Ames Lager is sold.
Thanks again to everyone that made Saturday night so great. Drinking beer, watching football, talking about wrestling, and me getting to pet Ollie the yellow lab for a while, that's a good day my friends.
Ryan
