AMES, Iowa – For the first time since December 1999, Iowa State wrestling has been named the top-ranked team in the country, the National Wrestling Coaches Association and W.I.N. Magazine announced Tuesday night. The Cyclones had been listed as the second-rated team since preseason, but took over as the No. 1 squad after beating defending NCAA team champion Minnesota 18-13 Sunday in Minneapolis.
