Just heard on the Radio that Weghner (sp) is comitting to Iowa. It was the Iowa High School Sports Connection show. Would say that's pretty credible.
So whats the over/under on how long it takes him to get arrested now?
Landing Davis, Cotton and Wegher is huge. Couple these commitments with a good season and I think Barrent might change his mind..
Change his mind? Does he really want to go to a school that boos its players off the field on Senior day? I will be curious to see how many of these guys are still planning on going to Iowa after the circus that is going to be Iowa football this fall.

I bet they'd much rather go to a school that fans don't even show up on Senior Day, with a conference championship on the line.
Sorry, but both Iowa and ISU have had season-ending games that neither fanbase is proud of.
That is why the plaque at our field says honor before victory, and the field itself is named for a guy who died from injuries suffered while representing Iowa State.

Jumbo...so whats the over/under on 3 wins for the clones this year? That's what u should be more worried about.
Wrong. I was at both the season-ender against Missouri and down at Kansas. I was very proud of our teams and gave them a cheer and clapped for them as they left the field, appreciating the effort they gave. Most ISU fans were doing the same. Major college athletics takes a lot of hard work and dedication, and I was there to not only watch those games, but to recognize the sacrifices those players made to my school. Not everything in life is about winning and losing.
While victories are nice, and much more fun for the spectators, sometimes the way you play the game is most important. That is why the plaque at our field says honor before victory, and the field itself is named for a guy who died from injuries suffered while representing Iowa State.
For any Hawk fans with the guts to click it, feel free

Maybe you could come back with the picture of Grant Steen flipping off the ISU huddle. Stay classy Hawks. Sure have come a long way since the likes of Nile Kinnick.
If this Wegher kid wants to go to Iowa, I could not care less.
I'm waiting for the official announcement......not that I think him committing to Iowa is unrealistic.
My point was, and it still stands is that 35,000 people in the stands for a game that would have decided whether or not ISU made the Big 12 Championship game is just as big of an insult to the players as a few idiotic fans booing. I'm glad you were there clapping, but I watched that game on TV, and you must have been the only one in the stands clapping as the team left the field.
