Week 1 Big XII Players of the Week

No Iowa State players.
Missouri's QB Chase Daniels threw for 320 yards and five touchdowns for offensive player of the week.
K-State defensive end Ian Campbell had eight unassisted tackles (three sacks) for defensive honors.
Oklahoma State kick returner Parrish Cox received the weekly special teams award for a 96-yard kickoff returned for a TD.

Bowen should get Defensive honors. This is bullsh*t! He had 14 unassisted and 20 overall, last time I checked, thats better than 8 and 11

Well the big XII is probably looking at the 3 sacks as more impressive than just tackles.

They probably just wanted to give teams like K-State, OSU, and Missouri honors for this week when they actually have a chance at winning games. They won't be heard from again.

The biggest argument for Bowen is that his came against decent competition.

I also believe Bret was involved in 5 TDs in a game that was much closer than Missouri game. My vote would be for Bret.
