Cut & Paste from the BoxsterCy thread of last season, with updates:

There is a similar "tracking" thread for MBB transfers and ISU basically has an entire squad playing WBB elsewhere this season. Here's the list:
  • Kylie Feuerbach at Iowa
  • Aubrey Joens at Oklahoma
  • Lexi Donarski at UNC
  • Maggie Vick at Pepperdine
  • Denae Fritz at Texas Tech (via Baylor)
  • Jalynn Bristow at Texas Tech
  • Isnelle Natabou at Florida International
  • Nyamer Diew at Colorado
  • Shantavia Dawkins at Dayton
  • Izzi Zingaro at Montana
  • Mary Kate King at Hawaii Pacific
This isn't a thread to diss the transfers or speculate on why they left, plenty of that in the individual transfer threads for each player. If you have no interest in them, fine, just don't spam the thread.

Love it. They all have one game played now:

In Tech's first game (blowout win) :
Fritz started and had 4 pts and 4 assists
Bristow came off the bench and had 7 pts, 5 rbs and 3 steals

For UNC, also in a blowout:
Lexi started and had 14 pts

Florida International played something called the Florida National Conquistadors and won 132-25
Natabou started and had 14 and 8

Aubrey played 9 minutes and didn't score in OU's 78-46 win against Southern

Maggie Vick had 2 pts and 4 boards off the bench in a close 59-57 Pepperdine win

Nymer started, played 34 minutes, and had 8 pts and 6 boards in a Colorado 59-50 win over Wyoming

Izzy came off the bench and had 9 pts and 4 boards in Montana's loss to Gonzaga. Lexi Donarski's little sister Macy is a freshman on that team too.

Yeah, probably a good idea to start a fresh thread for this season. I posted this in the "old" thread but will add it here to:

Kylie Feuerbach had 14 PTS 9 REB 5 AST 6 STL for Iowa tonight. Hawks win over Illinois State 91-73.
She started and played 33 minutes. Gotta be the best stat line of her career.

Hawaii Pacific has played a pair of exhibitions thus far - no stats readily available for MKK:

Why track Hawaii Pacific? Because Morgan Kane had an excellent year at Nova Southeastern - granted she was a high Division 1 recruit before spending her Graduate year at a D2 school, so it was expected. I'd just like to see MKK get decent playing time.

Former Cyclones were busy and productive on Thursday, November 7:

Lexi Donarski started in UNC's 77-50 win over UNC-Wilmington, leading the team with 21 points (8-14, 5-11, 0-0), 4 Rebounds and 3 Steals.

Ny Diew started and played 30 minutes in Colorado's 81-66 victory over Northern Colorado, totaling 14 Points, 3 Rebounds, 1 steal & 1 blocked shot.

Texas Tech beat Houston Christian, 63-40:
Fritz started and played 22 minutes, with 5 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist
Bristow played 12 minutes, with 5 points, 1 assist and 3 steals.

Maggie Vick played 10 minutes in Pepperdine's 65-56 loss at UC Irvine, chipping in 3 points and 4 rebounds.

Granted this is early in the season, but these results are indicative of the quality of ISU's WBB Program:

STARTERS at their new school (6):
Donarski @ UNC
Feuerbach at Iowa
Diew at Colorado
Fritz at Texas Tech
Dawkins at Dayton
Natabou at Florida International

REGULAR CONTRIBUTORS at new school (4):
Aubrey Joens at Oklahoma
Maggie Vick at Pepperdine (started double digit games in 2023-24)
Jalynn Bristow at Texas Tech
Izzi Zingaro at Montana

TO BE DETERMINED:
Mary Kate King plays her first regular season game at Hawaii Pacific on Sunday, November 10, on the road at Hawaii Hilo. The Hawaii Pacific mascot is "Sharky the Shark" and WBB team finished 7-19 overall and second to last in the Pacific West Conf. The 6'3 post for the Sharks is from the basketball hotbed of Scotland. I'm guessing MKK will see significant court time! Let Go Sharks!!! If you want to watch, they stream from the WBB website.

Mary Kate with the block is the most amazing thing out of this summary.

Too be fair TCU has NC State, Notre Dame and South Carolina coming up on their NC schedule.

They play for Texas Tech. Who do not have as tough as a schedule.
If you want to talk about creme puffs take a look at Oklahoma State's non-con schedule. Only teams worth anything are Fairfield and maybe Arkansas (who Fairfield beat).
