Another intriguing 2023 recruit is
Emily Fisher from Libertyville located in the north suburban area of Chicago.
Here's my amateur scouting report.
Her mother Renee is an ISU alum and her father Jeramy is a Drake alum.
She has offers from ISU, Drake, NC State, DePaul, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, Central Michigan, SMU, Saint Louis, etc. We are the first D1 school to offer her.
She's ranked #48 nationally and #6 in the State of Illinois by Prep Hoop Girls.

She has grown a little and now listed as a 6-0 guard/wing. She's listed 160 lbs and has a strong body type which gives her some advantage when playing through contact.
Her HS basketball team won the conference championships (regular season and conference tournament) last season (no IL State tournament was held). She was named the conference player of the year and a member of the all-state team (Class 4A) by AP (first-team) and IL BB Coaches Association.
You can view her comprehensive resume on her AAU team IL Wolverinas' website.

From my observation, I think she has an all-around game (stat stuffer) and plays like Bridget Carleton (same position and body type). She's a very versatile player who can shoot from outside, finish strong inside, has good court vision with skilled passing ability, and is a good defender (great at shot-blocking). She has impressive footwork (due to soccer practices) and ball-handling skills.
Her father has
a dedicated YouTube channel where you can find a lot of her videos.
Here are some of her recent highlights.
Since we already have a great Emily (Ryan) on our team, why not get another one?
P.S. She has a great AAU teammate
Katy Eidle who's currently being recruited by the Hawks (and several other P6 schools). I hope ISU can take a closer look at her as well.
