Where are the endless/useless threads about intro music selections and uniform colors in the basketball forum? Let's get this thing rolling.

Are you one of those people that sees something marked "Radioactive" and has to hit it with a crowbar just to see what happens?

:biglaugh:

Gotta admit, clever/amusing poke.

So, are the basketball uniforms changing again next year to incorporate the new logo? I would think they would have to.

Are we going to adopt the new uniform material/style some of the other bigger schools have gone to (Ohio State, UNC, etc)?

I think if we do, we'll win more.

:dull:

I think the basketball intro works well and we all know the colors are about to be improved a million fold next season so there isn't much to discuss. Now if you want to talk football entrances...then I think you will find some discussion.

I wish Iowa State would leave Nike. If you are not a big name, Ohio State, USC, etc. then you get the same uniform that everybody else gets. We where the same uniforms that division 2 schools that have Nike uniforms wear. I personally really like Louisville's road uniforms that are done by Adidas.

Chizik has basically gotten us in with Nike Elite, therefore we're going to be seeing a lot more interesting stuff out of Nike as in the past.

And I'd much rather wear Nike stuff than Adidas stuff as when we were with Adidas we were wearing the same gear as other schools as well (NC State unis come to mind)

We will be getting new MBB uniforms next year, and they will be the high end Nike Elite designs.

The music at the BB games has always been a ton better than the FB games. Mostly because the pep band gets to play a lot plus when they do play recorded stuff it's during timeouts when they play something to keep the crowd pumped up.

I got something on bball uni's though...PLEASE Nike DO NOT put a logo on the butts of the uniforms....the hawks look like they are pooping out a tigerhawk which is funny as long as it isn't your team.

Logos on the butts of uniforms should be reserved only for women's sports. Then I'm "just checking out their logo."

Agree with both of you - seriously, how many guys do you know of that walk around showing their tramp stamp? Great on women, not so much on men.

All I care about for the new football jerseys are that they are actually high end. AKA Stitched lettering/numbers and higher end fabric so we don't look like a high school team anymore.

Does ANYBODY do that at the college level? I thought even USC's, Michigan's and Notre Dame's were even screen printed...

Are we going to be adopting the system of dress jerseys?

Do you know me? This is weird. Damn, I avoided those threads on the FB page. I guess I pooped in my own bed this time.
