Just a quick motivational message to the students going to the game tomorrow night. Get your roommates/dorm floormates/friends off their butts and to the game!! It's going to be a toss-up game and the more students that are at the game, the better shot we have at kicking some Panther butt. As an added motivating factor, it seems that quite a few Panther fans/students will be coming to Hilton so let's send them home with their "tails" between their legs.

This one should be interesting...UNI is coming off a loss to SDSU, and we should be hungry to defend Hilton with a healthy Wesley.

Do we know for sure that Wesley is going to play tomorrow? If so, that would be a huge lift for this team. I know I will do my best to bring Hilton magic back tomorrow night.

And for those non students who sit in the parquet.......STOP LEAVING with 5 mins left in the game to rush out to your car. Win or lose, close game or blow out, these people leave early and it is nothing but embarrassing.

You said it yourself goldmember, those people are going to get up and leave early no matter what so there's probably no changing their behavior at this point. If it makes you feel any better, they do stand at the top of the parquet in the walkway and watch until the game is completely decided.

One that note, I don't mind (so much) when the game is out of reach.

But I was at the Centinary game a few weeks back there was a flood of people leaving with 2 or 3 minutes left - and the game far from being over.

Why pay for those seats and have your priority be getting to your car?

To each their own, I don't want to come off as telling people what to do with their money. But what's the point?

Ditto to what Goldmember said

To non-students going to the game - don't wait for the student lead, you know how/when to cheer, feel free to join the students in cheering or *gasp* cheer when they aren't!

To everyone going - Lets all cheer loud and beat the Panthers!

I wouldn't go THAT far ktodd. 9th-year senior Eric Coleman will probably pick up 4 fouls on Jiri in pregame warmups...

Come now Flag Guy...let's be honest. Is there anything we as students don't cheer for?

Hey, I do my best with my 11th row corner balcony seats. If students or high paying non-student folks in the lower level that don't show up or leave early don't want those seats there are a few thousand of us up in the corners that make it to every game that would much rather have those seats but can't afford them!

BTW, was that an appearance by flag guy at the Minnesota game or was that an imposter that came up and ran around the upper deck? I thought they told you that you can't do that anymore because it was too "dangerous?"

I also noticed "bizarro" Flag Guy. He didn't look too happy to be doing it.

Not sure it was the same guy. Heard someone in our section go "it can't be him else he's put on some weight." Sorry if it was you though man, just passing on what I heard

We need a heck of a lot more help than a guy with a flag to make this season a success.

Did he look like regular Flag Guy, only with a mustache or goatee that would signify that he is an evil clone? All evil clones/bizzaros usually have such marks:

That was me, I just wasn't dressed up as much as I normally am. I think it's the first time I ran without facepaint... Different flag pole this time too...

As for not looking happy to be doing it... probally just checking around for security to come escort me out because yes, I do get in trouble for that usually :mask:

Guess I need to run more then

And I dunno that I'll be doing it the whole season, I'm hopefully going to find a job and be out of Ames, but seeing as that has not yet happened I may run some more.

Unless security catches up with me and tells me to stop/kicks me out - I'm pretty sure they're getting serious about that this time
