He was awesome today. Just smothering guys on defense and attacked the basket a lot more consistently on offense. Pretty incredible stuff from a freshman PG. I know we've been spoiled with guys like Monte and Haliburton before him, but its a ton of fun watching Hunter grow as a player.

I'm trying to imagine him as a seasoned upperclassman. Shoots it better, finishes at the rim better, turns it over less, same defensive intensity, speed, vision, and hands.

Yeah, he's gonna be a problem.

And while I would be 100% fine with him going at any time to the pros, I believe being 6'0 isn't what the league looks for so positive is we'd get to watch him many years.

I hope he's here. He's definitely got NBA potential.

No doubt TH is an elite talent. With everything he brings to the table, the thing I like the most is his demeanor. No showboating, just all business.

Thinking the not-so-strong 3 pt shooting could keep him in college a little longer. BOY...if he ever gets that , look out.

THIS. He is the cornerstone of what is looking to be a possible 4 year run like Monte had. Imagine how good he will be as a senior and how good we could be if we add another piece or 2 of his talent level at other positions. We gotta enjoy every second of this. He is special.

I still think Hunter is ahead of where Monte was at this point in his freshman year. Fantastic on ball defender and great scoring ability as a freshman. His shot from outside is hopefully an area that can improve. I am confident he will have fewer turnovers as he continues to gain experience

And 8/13 threes he has made this year have come off of an assist. He's taking smarter shots. There is a big difference now in the college line versus 3 point line in high school. Free throw shooting is a pretty good tell for how strong of a shooter you can be. Going 7/9 on Saturday proves he has it in there. I'm sure he just needs to see a couple go in during the game.
He said on one of the post-game interviews that he feels he is the best shooter, so it'll come he said. (Terrible paraphrasing)

Poor man’s Kyrie, but still pretty rich. Starting to see a lot more Kyrie in his game as the season progresses.

I was thinking like Chris Paul. But honestly I've had so much fun watching him. I can't wait until he gets a bit more of an alpha dog mentality. The number of times he's driven, taken on a tall defender this year, bumped chests in the air and finished the shot has been outstanding. Really special.
