Trendy upset picks you aren’t buying? Upsets you think will happen?

The fan police is here! Sorry I don't fan the way you want but I gave tens of thousands of dollars to the University across two degrees so I'll say whatever the **** I want; disrespectfully.

I agree its not likely but you're also delusional if you aren't more scared of this round 1 draw than we typically should be.
If I'm being completely honest, I was way more concerned about SDSU last year than Lipscomb this year

We are delusional in here if we don't admit Lipscomb over our beloved Cyclones is the sexiest of all the upset picks... Lipscomb is *the* archetype for a round 1 upset.
If I were betting my own money, I would bet on ISU to beat Lipscomb. If somebody gave me free money to speculatively bet on first-round upsets, ISU-Lipscomb would be on the list. What Lipscomb does well (or what they have been reported to do well anyway, which is 3pt shooting and rebounding) is what ISU has struggled with in some games.

This is kind of making my point. NET is such a huge player and very few mid majors will be able to put together a resume that will be NET friendly. The P5 schools have a huge advantage with NET.
100%. People don't realize how much getting to buy 7 or 8 wins per school in your league and running up numbers sets an artificial baseline.

Really, that is bat ass crazy in my opinion. Not scary at all, of course, anything could happen, but do you really expect an easier opponent in the dance?

Is there ANY way Kansas finds their groove? I hate them...but I also don't trust St. John's like so many do. I should probably pick SJU but leave it to Kansas to find their defense and SJU to have an off shooting night. Connundrum.

Is anyone seeing this game as one of the hyped upset picks? Just thinking back a few years and it seems like the pundits usually do a decent job of nailing down the “upset specials”.

STJ's metrics look like the Kalscheur Clones. Great defense, and garbage offense. I just don't see them going far based on that.

Caveat- I haven't seen even a single highlight of the Johnnies.
