I'll echo CloneGuy8 and LindenCy view, I clicked 8-10. Despite how awful yesterday's game went, KSU came into it probably as a First Four tournament qualifier, ISU was something around 8 seed range, so that probably drops current outlook to 9 or 10 seed at worst.
However, cannot continue to drop could-win/should-win games, or NIT will become the ceiling.
Right now, I’d say around a 6 seed. If we continue on the trend of this past week, it will be tough to make the tournament. If we stay right in line with our current metrics, we’ll be 5-7. If we go on a hot streak, we can be a 3 or 4 seed. No idea which is most likely, so I went with what the analytics are saying (5-7).
There will be a lot of teams in the tournament that have weeks similar to the one we just had.
Until we win a game that nobody expects us to, NIT.
Winning out at home only gives us a 9-9 conference record and a 19-12 record. That probably gets you in the tournament but who knows. Baylor and Kansas State losses were huge.
