Since Gopher fans are pretty fickle in supporting their teams (besides hockey) I am not too worried about a slew of their fans driving down to Ames on a weekday.
The ones that are fans are good ones, but they don't have nearly the quantity of fans that Iowa State does, esp. when they aren't winning.
I think what amazes my Gopher-fan friends is the sheer size of ISU crowds, whether ISU is winning or not. Took the same group to the CU v ISU football game two years ago (the tornado siren game), they were astounded by the crowd size and noise for the level of the team.
Last post, i'm hittin' the road. Third row, lower level tickets, i'm pumped. I need an ISU win to make the drive back tolerable :yes:
