If it gets heated, and Tubby Smith is off the bench or after the refs about something...

I would like to hear a "Sit Down Orlando" chant. I never knew that was his real name!

Nice idea but with the students home to mommy and daddy I have a feeling the atmosphere is going to be disappointing.

I'm rollin' from Minneapolis with three U of M graduates tonight (couldn't get any ISU friends to go). I'm guessin' you'll see a fair number of MN fans, since good tickets were relatively easy to come by for them.

Drive carefully. I don't know what it is like up north but it is foggy as all get out around here.

I love being a student who's from Ames. I'll have to pull my weight tonight for sure in the loudness factor.

Since Gopher fans are pretty fickle in supporting their teams (besides hockey) I am not too worried about a slew of their fans driving down to Ames on a weekday.

The ones that are fans are good ones, but they don't have nearly the quantity of fans that Iowa State does, esp. when they aren't winning.

I think what amazes my Gopher-fan friends is the sheer size of ISU crowds, whether ISU is winning or not. Took the same group to the CU v ISU football game two years ago (the tornado siren game), they were astounded by the crowd size and noise for the level of the team.

Last post, i'm hittin' the road. Third row, lower level tickets, i'm pumped. I need an ISU win to make the drive back tolerable

Also, today is Carlos Boozer's birthday, someone make him a sign that reads something like "Hilton Wishes Carlos a Happy Birthday" kinda cheesy but hey who knows.
