I was in Marshalltown last weekend but had to stop at Taylor's Maid-rite; otherwise, Flying Elbow looks like a pretty good burger.

I am not a fan of Shorts. Not so much the place itself that's the problem, I am just not a fan of the "burger with 12 odd things on it burger". They always sound good, but the "things" end up wrecking the burger flavor for me. Just the basics please,

I had a burger at Applebee's last week. Pretty greasy, but it was not bad. Certainly not as good as some I have had, but way better than McD.

I had it yesterday. The winning burger is fantastic! I was surprised the Flying Elbow was so small. Seats probably 20 people. Kudos to them for experimenting to get the winning burger.
