Time out after Hall's long run that lead to no points

Why did CMC call timeout after Hall's long run? Had OSU D on ropes but gave them time to catch breather and recover. I think ISU should line up and run Nwangnu or play action keep OSU on heels. Instead allowed to gather their sense and stopped ISU.

Feel like "we don't have a play for this situation ready to go quickly" isn't a very good excuse.

That timeout bothered me too then coming out of it we throw the ball out the back of the endzone to burn the down. That would have been a good play had we went tempo after the huge run. Regardless, we didn't get points in that drive and it proved costly at the end of the game.

It was a pretty poorly run sequence of events to be sure.

The multitude of pre snap penalties, poor clock management, and inability to get plays into the huddle in a timely way are signs of ineffective coaching within the offense. This is basic stuff; absolutely baffling within a management-themed coaching style.

Why does CSP always seem to call a time out right after a fast break score that really fires up the crowd...
