Is tip off time exactly 11:30? I land at MCI at 10:30. Any chance I can make it in time for tip? Including a stop at the hotel just down the street (only leaving bags at bell hop not checking in)

No way but I'll help you out by making sure your ticket doesn't go to waste. I'll take one for the team for ya.
I think you would make it (or at least not miss much) if your flight is on the dot.
-- 5 minutes to get off the plane/hail a taxi
-- 25 minutes to get downtown
-- 5 minutes to store bag
-- 5-10 minutes to get to the arena/in your seat
You still have 5-15 minutes of give time there.
I will now expect updates on progress at each stage, flight lands, in taxi, at hotel, at arena. I bet you can get to 20 pages on this!

You'll cut it close. As much as people hate MCI, it's quick to get in and out of. Most of the traffic getting to the area should be thinned out by that time since Iowa State splits the session with K-State. KState fans will probably hang out at P&L before going to their game and our fans should already be parked and in the arena.
I've tried that in years past a couple times and never make it by the opening tip. Good luck.
