And then he very carefully didn’t denigrate those guys, but picked out the guys waiting in the wings who would be…passable…by 2019.

When I heard that, I wondered if he would make a good DT. Seems that's the place most big guys with quick twitch wind up.

I suspect that coaches’ standards for “quick twitch” for OL and “quick twitch” for DT may well be two entirely different things.

And besides, I still remember how awesome Randall McDaniel was blocking downfield.
