I'd be in favor of it. Although he lacks head coaching experience but I think in our next hire offensive line experience at a program similar to Iowa State is a must.

[h=2]If you have something bad to say about Coach Rhoads or the football program....try shutting your pie hole about it until after signing day. Negativity between now and then does nothing to help the program, and serves absolutely no positive purpose...some of you wanted him gone, we get it, but that's not happening regardless of your heart's longing. Feel free to continue your ranting idiocy after signing day, but for now you'd make most of the fan base happy if you'd just...for Pete's sake...shut the heck up. If there's even a 1% chance that 1 recruit or family member comes here and reads your foolishness...than you've hurt the program. Too many on here love to hold the torch to the wood while proclaiming the program to be a dumpster fire.

And yes, its a free country and you have the right to say what you want....but perhaps you should try having the wisdom to know when to be silent. I've loved this school and this program since the early 70's, seen all of its triumphs (which were few) and suffered through all of its defeats (which were many)...and you people are hurting this school and this team. The decision is made, Coach Rhoads is our coach for the next year. The ONLY thing a real fan can do at this point is get behind the team and coach and work to turn this thing around. Anything else is pointless, self defeating, blabbering until we see what runs on to the field next fall.

I apologize if I offend, but I am just sick of the childish negativity that is now rampant here. Vent your hostility at your dog, punch the wall...do whatever you need to do....but get over it, and look forward.[/h]
